How We Research, Review and Correct This Site
Content here is written and reviewed by the MaxDex Services team in Melbourne, Australia. These are the rules we hold ourselves to, published so you can hold us to them.
Who writes and reviews this content?
The MaxDex Services team, the same people who build the app. Product and methodology pages are reviewed against the shipping source code, not against marketing copy, and carry the date of their last review.
We do not employ clinicians and we do not present the team as medically qualified. Where a claim needs clinical authority we cite published research and link to it, rather than asserting it in our own voice.
How are claims sourced?
Any claim carrying a number, a mechanism or a research finding is linked to a primary source — preferably a DOI, PubMed record, or government or academic publication — rather than a secondary summary.
Where a statement describes our own implementation, the source is the code itself, and the relevant constants are published so the claim can be checked rather than taken on faith. Where we have not measured something, we say we have not measured it.
We do not cite internal documents that readers cannot access. An unverifiable citation is worse than none, because it borrows the appearance of evidence without supplying any.
How often is content reviewed?
Methodology pages are reviewed whenever the underlying engine changes, since a stale constant here is a false statement. Other pages are reviewed periodically and carry a visible last-reviewed date.
A last-reviewed date only means something if it changes when the content does. We update it on substantive review, not on every deploy, so it is not inflated into a freshness signal that means nothing.
What we will not publish
No fabricated testimonials, no invented user counts, no star ratings or review schema without genuine reviews behind them, and no accuracy figures we have not measured.
Fabricated reviews are illegal in several of our markets, and they are also self-defeating: the moment one is spotted, every other claim on the site becomes suspect. Where you see a number here, it is either drawn from the code or linked to a source.
We also do not describe MaxDex as treating, diagnosing or curing any condition. The full boundary is set out in what we do not claim.
How do I report an error?
Email maxdexaiservices@gmail.com with the page and the specific claim. Substantive corrections are made to the page and its last-reviewed date updated.
Corrections to methodology pages are the ones we most want to hear about. If a published constant no longer matches the shipping app, that is a factual error on our part, and we would rather fix it quickly than have it quietly rot.
