A Daily Planner Built Against Parkinson’s Law
Parkinson’s law: work expands to fill the time available. Unstructured solopreneur days are an infinite container. An energy based daily planner has to put a lid on the jar.
Infinite time is not a gift
When you work from home with no stand-up, a task can occupy the whole afternoon and still not start. The calendar looks empty, so the work inflates.
Shrink the block, then start it
Give the hard task a short, named window. Pair it with a call at t=0. That is a Parkinson’s law daily planner in practice—not a quote on a lock screen.
Energy is the other lid
If you only shrink time but ignore sleep debt, you still fail. Capacity has to constrain the plan or the lid is fake.
